MG15 Erdkampf set. The MG15 was
initially made for onboard aircraft use, but also saw a lot of
action as a ground defence weapon, mostly by Luftwaffe troops.
This rail was mounted underneath the barrel shroud and made it possible
to mount the standard MG34 bipod on the gun. This actual item appears
to be a late war piece, only partly finished. The front mount for the
bipod has been machined out, while the rear one is left in the raw. The
locking spring has never been attached. Fits perfectly to a MG15. $ 650,-
